Muturi off the radar

The defiant Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has been sacked after playing hide and seek with the appointing authority.

In the latest move, President William Ruto sacked Muturi and appointed Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Kiringa Ruku to replace him in the public service docket.

Others changes were Environment CS Mr  Adan Duale  reshuffled to the ministry of  health , swapping with Dr Deborah Barasa.

The head of state also nominated Hannah Wendot wife the late Baringo Senator William Cheptumo for the post of Gender CS.

The changes were communicated in a press release dated March 26, by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei

On Tuesday, the President hit out at Muturi, saying he proved to be incompetent as Attorney General.

Speaking at State House, Nairobi during an iftar session for muslim community members,  Ruto described Muturi as incompetent.
