Nyakera eyes to establish cottage industries in the constituencies to engage the youth

Former
PS Irungu Nyakera has said Murang’a has potential of generating millions
of shillings annually if value addition  venture will be  supported.

 Nyakera speaking in Kandara said value
addition is the solution of many of the problems the locals have been going
through, as selling raw products has denied them getting better returns from
the market.

Accompanied
by his running mate Catherine Wairimu Mugu, Nyakera said value  addition apart from generating income will
also create employment to hundreds of the youth and provide them with various
opportunities.

“Murang’a
needs change to help in the transformation of the devolved sectors and more so
creation of employment to our children who have completed education,” said
Nyakera.

He
pleaded   with Murang’a residents  to elect him as the second government as he
has the capacity to transform the county  and deliver the pledges he has made in
agriculture , education, value addition 
among others.


Once elected I will work towards job creation for the youth among establish cottage
industries in the sub counties,” said Nyakera.

He added that many of the youth were idle
and establishment of the cottage industries 
will keep them engaged.
