Covid 19: Wa Sammy eyes on increasing handwashing points

With
the third wave of Covid 19 looming, Kenyans have been warned against ignoring
the protocols despite the importation of vaccines.

In
Laikipia East, a resident Mwangi wa Sammy has led the pack by visiting schools
educating the young on the need to adhere to the protocols to keep the disease
away.

 Apart from the health talk, Wasammy donated
water tanks to help increase handwashing points as directed by the government.

Speaking
to The Mountain Journal Wa Sammy said the next phase of distribution of tanks will
be in institutions in Umande and Ngobit wards.


As a resident of Laikipia is duty-bound to look at the interest of the people
and supplement government efforts to help stop the spread of the disease,” said
Wa Sammy.

  This week, Wa Sammy held health talks in
Mirera, Njogu ini, Bungoma, St Christopher, 
St Moses,  Nanyuki, Nturukuma, Nkando. 

Other visited institutions were Likii, Mt Kenya,  Thingithu, DEB, Ndururi and Temmarkis primary
schools.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe  has insisted the need for the community  to observe Covid 19 protocols at all times.
