Former Othaya MP Mary Wambui Munene
has been appointed to chair Street Families Rehabilitation Fund to replace
Linah Jebii Kilimo.
Labour Cabinet Secretary Simon
Chelugui revoked her appointment at the National
Employment Authority (NEA). Her stay at the authority was messy as she met strong
opposition.
In her place Chelugui appointed Prof
Grace Jerotich Cheserek with effect from January 1. Kilimo is a CAS in the department of livestock and fisheries
Chelugui revoked her appointment at
NEA and moved her to a safe haven where is not likely to meet opposition.
In the latest Kenya Gazette notice, the
CS directed that Jerotich will serve in
the position for three years.
At the same time, Agriculture and Cooperative
Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya has appointed lawyer Maria Mbeneke to serve on the board of Cooperative Tribunal.
Ms Maria is a spouse to Laikipia
Governor Ndiritu Muriithi.
Also appointed to serve in the cooperative tribunal for a three years period
is Gitonga Kamiti.
Munya also appointed former commissioner of
cooperative Mary Njeri Mungai to chair
the board of Ethics Commission for
Cooperative Societies (ECCOS).
Others appointed to serve in the
commission for a period of three years
are Daniel Marube, Georgian
Malombe, Dr Edward Mungai and Nuru Mugambi.
