Agikuyu women clad in traditional
regalia held demonstration at Kenol market, Murang’a castigating MPs Johana
Ng’eno and Oscar Sudi over their insults targeting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s
family.

The women asked for apology from
the two MPs for invoking the name of Mama Ngina Kenyatta when they hurled their
insults at the President.

Accompanied by Murang’a MP Sabina
Chege, the women agemates of Mama Ngina said it was uncalled for the
leaders  to demonstrated their uncultured
behaviours targeting their insults at the elders.

Rebeccah Mwicigi from Gatanga pleaded with the
two she said were her sons age to demonstrate wisdom and seek for
forgiveness from those they tormented in their utterances.

“ The leaders should led by
example  and Ng’eno and Sudi should seek
for apology for the mistakes they have done to the first family,” she said.

Chege on her part said women in Mt Kenya
region feel aggrieved by the remarks made by the two.

“They have hurled insults at the
women and more by targeting  the
respected Mama Ngina Kenyatta  who has
kept off the political arena,” she said.

Maragua MP Mary Wamaua accused the two for
playing dirty politics.

“Women of this country have not
taken it lightly and the two have demonstrated their true colours that they are
planning for chaos,” she said.

Wamaua asked the government charged
with law and order to investigate conduct of the two as they have ploy to
plunge the country into chaos.
