Soccer
tournaments in Gitugi ward will be back following the donation of uniforms to
player.
The players received uniforms from Samuel Mwangi Kifeti who has
been in the past supported the teams. The playing kits were donated by Governor Mwangi wa Iria
Mr Kifeti has donated playing kits to six teams that are
playing in various leagues, awaiting the start of the ward tournament that he will sponsor.
Among the teams that benefitted with kits are Gitugi, Kanoro and Karung’e
football clubs.
Kifeti is also the
ward clerk in Gitugi ward representing the interests of the Governor.
“ Let it be known that we must keep our youth busy at all
times as hundreds have sporting talents,” said Kifeti.
