Public servants have continued to make endless engagements in Mt Kenya region persuading the locals to support President William Ruto’s re-election.
The public officers under the Mt.Kenya Leaders Caucus is a group of all appointed government officers serving in different capacities led by Deputy Head if Public Service, Amos Gathecha trooped in Kahuro, in Kiharu constituency outlining the government’s development programmes that are ongoing and those in the pipeline.
The team was led by Deputy Head of Public Service Amos Gathecha, and Principal Secretaries Elijah Mwangi( Sports) and Betsy Njagi (Blue Economy and Fisheries) for a Huduma Mashinani Forum designed to assess the progress of government programmes and development initiatives.
They highlighted the achievements of the Kenya Kwanza administration, saying the government has continued to deliver on its development agenda and fulfil its commitments to Kenyans.
Mwangi said various programmes and projects are being implemented across the country, noting that the administration remains focused on improving the lives of citizens through effective service delivery and sustainable development.
“Across all the 47 counties, this transformation is increasingly visible through the construction and rehabilitation of roads, major sports facilities, modern markets and affordable housing, alongside major investments in agriculture, healthcare and other critical infrastructure, said Mwangi.
Gathecha, a career administrator, emphasized the need to shift focus from politics to the implementation and completion of development projects that directly benefit wananchi.
“President Ruto remains firmly focused on the transformation of Kenya’s economy. With more development being underway, more opportunities are being created, and together, we will build a stronger and more prosperous Kenya for all,” said Mr Gathecha.
Wangoro Mwangi Director at Kenya Biovax Institute (BioVax) said the state backed interventions once they are completed will strengthen production and create sustainable pathways for families to improve their livelihoods.
