Kigumo
MP Wangari Mwaniki has pleaded with Kenyans to embrace ideologies in the
building bridges initiative saying they are designed to unite the country.

The
MP said the leaders should abandon their personal interests  and focus on how best they can assist the
future generations.

The country is presently faced with challenges that include ethnicity which can
be dealt with if leaders will guide the way to prosperity,” she said when she
addressed journalists at Kaharati.

She said all should embrace the constitution
making process initiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Leader Raila
Odinga.

It is absurd that there are people who have formed a biased opinion in Building
Bridges Initiative (BBI) based on their personal interests,” she said.

The
Constitutional process, she said was a healthy debate that  could help the country come out from
ethnicity, thus need for all to the allowed to make their honest opinions.

 She observed
that Korea and Singapore which are among the developed countries walked out of
poverty upon realization by its former leaders to drop their selfish attitude.
