Contractors , and other investors have been cautioned against diverting business Capital to fund campaigns ahead of the upcoming General elections.
Comfort Homes Real Estate Company Director Hezekiah Kariuki cautioned the investors against being easily lured to fund political campaigns only to lament at the end after the collapse of their ventures.
“In Business, specialisation and focus is the key thing, investors should stick to the growth of their selected business areas and avoid diversion of resources to unpredictable Political manoeuvres,āhe said.
In the past he said many investments have been affected by business owners miscalculation to indulge in Politics using business capital adding that amounts to economic suicide.

He cautioned traders not to process loans for other reasons except the expansion of their businesses.
‘ Taking a loan to fund campaigns or to directly vie a political seat needs a lot of care before such a decision is made, loans should be invested on viable and practical available options. Kariuki Stated.
He said that cash flow in business should be well safeguarded as it is the secret of any business , which enables a business to survive and thrive in hardest economic situations,
Kariuki reiterated the need for traders to be extra careful while supplying goods and offering services especially to county governments in the last electioneering period.
He added that delays in payments, due to unbudgeted projects and political interference could lead to collapse of business investments.
