Health criss in Nanyuki

Health services at Nanyuki Referral Hospital have been grounded after the health workers have downed their tools.

The Nurses and Midwives began their strike in the morning paralysing services in the hospital serving parts of the counties of Meru, Nyeri and Laikipia.

The nurses are demanding, among other ten grievances, the absorption of casual professionals into the permanent and pensionable (PnP) terms.
