Kandara voters went for Chege Njuguna

 Political battles played out in Kandara  with the voters going for the US based Chege Njuguna with 7,826 votes.

 The voters went against the wish of the Water and Irrigation CS Alice Wahome to choose Injinia Stephen Mwaura who garnered 4,414 votes in the  just concluded UDA nominations.


In the second position was the youthful businessman Titus Njau who polled 5,335 votes,  while the former Murang’a Deputy Governor Maina Kamau 2,191 votes.

Other aspirants polled, Andrew Kahenya 177 votes , Kelvin Kimani 265 votes, Patrick Kibe 103 votes, Raphael Macharia  231 votes,  Ngacha Kinuthia 1,154 votes, Injini Patrick Macharia  1,001 votes.
