Naivasha MP Jane Kihara has been summoned by UDA follows allegations of misconduct, including remarks criticising the Party and questioning its inner workings.
She has been directed to appear before its disciplinary committee on Tuesday, December 24, at 9:00 a.m.
According to the statement from the UDA Party, Kihara was recorded saying, “Mi husema ile kitu ya UDA naweza nunua labda ni tissue paper… yellow toilet paper coz I’ll use it and throw it in the toilet. UDA said pesa mfukoni, but nowadays, hadi ile iko kwa mfuko wanatoa.”
The MP is also accused of claiming that the Kenya Kwanza administration has strayed from its promises, and pushed impeached DP Rigathi Gachagua out for being truthful.
In a statement, Kihara allegedly made disparaging comments about the Party.
“When we say things are going astray, they call us ‘evil spirits,’ That’s why Riggy G was kicked out for speaking the truth,” she allegedly said.
