Inside the premises, the administrators impounded assorted brands of suspected illicit brews, fake KRA stamps, 100 liters of ethanol and brewing apparatus. Also recovered were cartoons of bottle caps and crates with empty bottles.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, residents said the owner of the bar has been making and packing his products in the premises that masquerades like a bar before releasing the same for consumption.
The four arrested suspects were taken to Witeithie Police Station pending to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
In recent times, Witeithie has become a dumping site for these cheap and perilous brews.
Recently, KRA officials raided two wine and spirits outlets where they recovered illicit brews worth millions of shillings and nabbed a suspect.
