Monica Chege managed 67.47percent of the votes cast in a poll survey on Kigumo ward position.
In the runners up was Yvonne Wambui who got 16.87 percent followed by the incumbent Kairu Kimani with 8.43 percent.
Nominated MCA Caroline Wairimu managed 7.23 percent, while the three others Evans Njoroge, David Kimani and Ndung’u Mirii failed to get backing in the poll.
The poll conducted by The Mountain Journal attracted 83 persons in a ward with 14,953 registered voters.
