Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Murithi will flag Jubilee Party ticket in the campaign where he will faced Joshua Irungu of UDA and Mburu Kamau the independent candidate in the August 9 polls.
The slot of the Senator was awarded to the Deputy Governor John Mwaniki after he floored Steve Chege a former University students leader in Laikipia County. Mwangi will face John Kiama of TSP, and Maina Njenga.
Former CEC at the laikipia County Government Virginia Wambui was identified to run for the Woman Representative position.
Others are Laikipia East Parliamentary nominee Antony Rukwaro and Laikipia North Sarah Korere. Wanjiku Mwendia who fly the jubilee party flag in Laikipia West.
Coming up of Rukwaro in the list was a surprise to Michael Waigwa and Mwangi wa Sammy who have been on the ground campaigning.
In Laikipia North, the Incumbent Korere had faced a challenge from Joseph Shuel a former Laikipia County Government CEC of roads and Public Works and Timothy Ole Mosiany.
Ndiritu is also the chairman to the Raila Odinga Election Secretariat.
