Chege and Ichung’wa top the performing Mt Kenya MPs in parliamentary debates

 Two Mt Kenya region MPs have been named among the recognized debaters in the floor of the house.

Murang’a MP Sabina Chege and her Kikuyu counterpart Kimani Ichung’wa have been named among the best performing members   while others are listed as the poor performers.

 Chege serves as Chairperson to parliamentary health committee and has established development programmes in her Murang’a county backyard mostly targeting women and youth.

 She is also eying  for the position of Murang’a Governor in the next year general election.

In the latest report score card, the non performing members from the region are Jane Njuki( Embu), George Kariuki( Ndia), Maina Kamande and Partrick Munene (Chuka/ Igamba Ng’ombe)

 Others listed noisemakers outside the assembly but vocal in the public rallies are Gedion Moi (Senator Baringo), Amina Gedow ( Mandera),  Oscar Sudi( Kapseret),  Imran Okoth( Kibra),  George Aladwa( Makadara).

In contrast, other performers in and outside the assembly are Joseph Limo( Kipkelion East), David Sankok, Chris Wamalwa, Robert Pukose , Millie Mabona, Glady Wanga, Rachael Kaki and Eve Akinyi Obara.

 The ever silent leaders in the assembly and vocal in the public rallies  have been list as Jane Jepkorir, Anab Mohammed Gure, Cheptoo Tomitom, Gedion Konchella, Marwa Maisori, Mathias Nyamabe, Bady Twalib,  Abdi Shurie among others.
