Murang’a MP Sabina Chege
Parliamentary health committee will today have
a date with the management of the troubled Kemsa board in a view to get information
on utilisation of funds allocated to help stop the spread of Covid 19.
The board chaired by Amb Kembi Gitura will
have a session with the parliament team led by Murang’a MP Sabina Chege.
They have a session hours after President Uhuru Kenyatta in his 11th
address to the nation on strategies made to tame the spread of the disease
ordered investigation into the allegation on the theft of funds.
Chege confirmed the board officials have been
invited for the grilling session.

After we are through with Kemsa we shall proceed to Kenyatta National Hospital,
Moi Teaching and Referral and Kemri to get information on how the funds allocated
have been utilized,” said Chege.
