Laikipia County MP Catherine Waruguru has dedicated more time to
serve her constituents after she decamped from Tanga Tanga camp.
In a video circulating in
her social media platform, Waruguru has assured her constituents that whenever
she will not be in parliament she will be in the villages.
Waruguru is among the
leaders in Mt Kenya region who were vocal in the Tanga Tanga wing of Jubilee
allied to Deputy President William Ruto who decamped.
“Only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I will be in the parliament,
other days I will be at home (Laikipia) with my people,” said the MP.
Two months ago, Waruguru
and her Laikipia North counterpart Sarah Lekorere were among leaders who
‘sanitized’ by ODM Leader Raila Odinga and announced their defection to Tanga
Tanga to Kieleweke camp.
In Mt Kenya region leader left supporting the deputy president
are Rigathi Gachagua (Mathira) and Ndindi Nyoro( Kiharu).
The youth is happy with return of Mama Simba who has been championing their in interests when oppressed by the system
