EACC detectives are camping at Kirinyaga Governor Annie Mumbi
Waiguru residences in Nairobi and Kirinyaga.
The detectives are in
search of documents pertaining to the paid travel allowances that the county
government facilitated at Sh23million.
In a communication, the commission Chief Executive Officer Twalib Mbarak said
they are in the process of establishing
whether the trips were actually undertaken
and whether the supporting
documents the trip are genuine. The team
was granted access in offices of interest
and other areas.
