the experts after they made a plea to the area MP Ngugi Nduati to facilitate them
undergo training.
In collaboration with the police, the MP said the training

He urged the youth to form
youth groups to benefit from the facilitation from youth and uwezo funds initiated
by the government.
“ President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government has invested heavily on
the youth, thus no need for holding fundraisers in the villages,” observed the
MP.
Peter Muchemi, Gatanga Police Sub County Commander asked the riders to
observe the patient and shun taking the law into their hands.
The riders, he said play an important role in the community, thus
they should be part of the community policing initiative.
“ The police recognize the important work being done by the boda
boda riders as they penetrate inside the villages, thus need for information sharing,”
said Mr Muchemi.
The CDF has trained the
riders drawn from the six sub-counties.
