carefully not to follow certain leaders blindly as they have hidden political
agenda.

Speaking in Kigumo,
Murang’a where Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe laid a foundation for
Kigumo Sub County Hospital, they said there were leaders flocking the region
with intent to confuse the President’s supporters.

efforts to deal with the camp allied to the Deputy President William Ruto that is
popularising United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

In the region, UDA lieutenants
are Kiharu’s Ndindi Nyoro, Alice Wahome( Kandara), Senator Irungu  Kang’ata, Rigathe Gachagua( Mathira), Wangui Ngirici(

would be long for Mt Kenya region not to honour the president only to regret
after his departure from the presidency.

has benefitted with projects worth millions of shillings
ranging  from health, water, modern markets among others in the
period Kenyatta has been the head of state,” said the host Wangari.

Mwaniki added that she
will lead the onslaught against a section of leaders in the mountain to defend the
President basing  for his development
performance as he heads  for exit.

constituency has benefitted with three alongside tens of development projects.

“Do not be carried
away by roadside politics played by persons harbouring selfish interests,” said
Ms Gakuya.

Gatanga MP Ngugi
Nduati said the leaders should work hand in hand with the government of the day
and shun be close to those undermining the head of state.

“ Murang’a should be
one of the areas where the President should get massive backing  following
construction of many roads, hundreds of water and sanitation projects,” said
Nduati.

  Chege said
introduction of medical equipment to health facilities countrywide by the
government helped to play a major role in the administration of quality
treatment at low cost.

“ As the chairperson
of the health committee in Parliament  the issue of the equipment is
appreciated by all the Kenyans, as they are found in all major hospitals,” said
Chege.

Kagwe said the
locals  should support their own after he introduced hundreds of
development programmes, instead of supporting the rebels.

He said it was the
high time as a nation  retreated to soberness  from combative
politics and addressed the concerns facing the  communities at this time
of Covid 19 pandemic.

“ The government of
the day has done a lot thus the credit should be channeled towards the President,”
said Kagwe.

A month ago, more than 15 MPs  from the Central Kenya region backed  Transport and Infrastructure Cabinet Secretary
James Mcharia during the inspection of Kenol- Marwa road. They also tasted the
