Murang’a enters into a pact with Chinese on cooperative

Murang’a County Government has entered into a pact with Pinggu District, Beijing of the People’s Republic of China focusing on achieving development.

The pact between the two parties was signed by Irungu Kang’ata and the Deputy Mayor Mr Mr H.EFU Qiang led the Chinese Delegation in the cooperative partnership.

This comes after last week’s successful Murang’a Investment conference that brought together more than 2,000 investors from different countries.

“The partnership collaboration between the foundation of Chinese Investment in Murang’a Industrial City has deepened Investor’s relationship with the People’s Republic of China,” said Kang’ata.

Murang’a is positioning itself as a tech frontier with initiatives like broadband infrastructure, digital skilling, incubation hubs, and tech partnerships.

 Present were deputy governor Stephen Munania, said the aim of the county as an investment destination for milk, avocado, tea coffee and macadamia to the Chinese market.

Among those present were the Trade CEC Kimani Mugo, and Chief of Staff Irungu Kibiru.
