Tea Farmers at the Ndima tea factory decline to be addressed by Gatundu MP Gabriel Kagombe who is also a board member in Kiambu.
Kagombe was among the MPs who supported the impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Hell broke loose when the farmers in their annual general meeting branded Kagombe “msaliti” and a section walked out of the meeting when he was invited to address them.
The zone five Board member John Mithamo fearing the wrath of the farmers asked a local director Ceaser Wanjau to invite him.
But Kagombe stood firm as he urged farmers to differentiate between politics and development, saying time for politics ended longtime ago.
“Farmers to differentiate between politics and development, time for politics is long gone,” said Kagombe.
