Zetech University to increase programmes

Zetech University is on track to expand its academic offerings to at least 30 programs by the end of 2025, as it prepares to introduce several new degree courses.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Njenga Munene, revealed that the university has already submitted proposed programs for inspection by the Commission for University Education, with some courses having already been approved and set for launch.

Among the new programs set to be introduced are a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics.

These programs, Prof. Munene emphasized, are part of the university’s strategic plan to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in key sectors of the Kenyan economy.

He also mentioned that the university is in the process of developing degree programs in Law, Biomedical Sciences, as well as Masters and PhD programs in International Relations.

“We are offering Kenyan students a wide variety of options to choose from, ensuring that we are responding to the needs of the market,” said Prof. Munene.

He added that the decision to introduce these new programs was based on thorough research and consultations with key stakeholders, including employers.

John Mwai, the university’s Communications Officer, confirmed that the university had conducted comprehensive research before finalizing the new course offerings.

He noted that the institution has also invested in modern laboratories to support the new science programs, which are set to be rolled out soon.

Currently, Zetech University is known for its strong focus on business, education, technology and media-related courses.

The expansion of its program portfolio is expected to further enhance its reputation as a leading provider of quality education in Kenya.
