Mbiyu Kamau supports youth in games
Wakili Mbiyu Kamau has joined hands with the community to keep the youth busy.
Wakili who is a household name in Kandara constituency donated a ball to a youth group following a plea by members to keep them engaged.
The gesture from Wakili comes when parents have been directed by the government to keep their children under surveillance to save them from being lured into criminal activities and liquor.
Mbiyu said the youth in the productive age should be kept busy to keep them away from involvement with criminal elements.
“ As a community leader am duty-bound to guide my people to prosperity and not forgetting the youth,” said Mbiyu
The youth in Kenya, he observed accounts for 65 percent in the population thus need to channel resources to assist them to improve their living standards.
He asked the youth to observe Covid 19 protocols and ensure they read Building Bridges Inititiave (BBI) report.
The youth should be the driving force should to protect interests of the old and ensure they are not lured into hooliganism.
“ I will have a session where the youth in Kandara constituency will be taken through various programmes on lifestyle by motivation speakers.
