Destruction was witnessed in Nanyuki in connection with Monday’s Ebola Quarantine and Control Facility related demonstrations.
They turned the court upside down before they were chased by the police and scores arrested.
Chalo was shot dead in the Baraka area, while Matheri was shot and severely injured in the Ichuga area by the police while pursuing the protestors. Matheri is at the Nanyuki Level Five Hospital awaiting the removal of the bullets.
The protestors accused the law enforcers of using excessive force in the course of the day.
In Nanyuki town, they broke into the shops stealing goodies, leaving a trail of destruction.
Near Quickmart Supermarket, they broke into a mini market sweeping the shelves clean being the second time after the 2024 Finance Bill protest.
