Ndindi opens a technical college in his Kiharu backyard

Kiharu Technical and Vocational College (Kiharu TVC) was officially launched by the local MP, Ndindi Nyoro.

The MP also opened the Mwai Kibaki Tuition Block, named after the former President Mwai Kibaki, owing to recognition of his deeds.

Speaking at the institution in the Kiambugi area of Gaturi ward, Ndindi said the college has more than 2,000 learners from all corners of the country.

“ As we launched the Co Funded Kiharu NG – CDF, we also commissioned and officially opened The Mwai Kibaki Tuition Block that was recently constructed by the Kiharu NG CDF,” said the MP.

In the same function,  Ndindi handed over Sh 4.2 million from the NG CDF to facilitate the procurement of various equipment needed in the workshops. 

“ Also handed over Sh 10 million to St Paul’s Boys, Gathuki-ini, for the purchase of a School Bus,” said the MP..

Presently led by the college Principal Dr Daniel Wahungu, and the Chairman, Mr. Rueben Nyagia, who were lauded for their exemplary job.

Others were Gaturi MCA Gathee Wa Njeri,Bishop John CW among others .
