A church in Gitugi Mathioya, Murang’a was reportedly vandalised a week after the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua worshiped in company of other national leaders.

On Saturday, the residents woke up to a rude shock after reports indicated that known thugs struck and stole the church equipment. The Friday night incident occured after 12am as the long thug managed to bring down the electronic equipment

Residents called on the police to conduct investigations and bring the culprits to book.

“ This is a serious offence that needs in-depth investigations to serve as a warning to others with similar intentions,” said one of the residents.
