In Murang’a, the first chairman of the UDA Mr Peter Mbogo was nominated to take a position that was left at the county assembly by the late Mark Wainaina.
Mbogo from Kandara constituency, has been instrumental in launching the UDA Activities in Murang’a county, and after the election he was appointed the Personal Assistant to Governor Irungu Kang’ata.
Charles Mwangi says nomination of Mbogo is celebrated as he has been royal to his former bosses including Lands Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome and Governor Kang’ata.
