Athi Water Works Development Agency has been ranked the best-performing state corporation in Kenya according to the latest Kenya Track Survey 2025.
The second runner up was Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KURA), National Irrigation Authority (NIA), Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC).
Athi Water Chairman Charles Karondo celebrated the ranking saying they will continue providing effective services to the residents in the areas they serve.

“ I am happy that in the ranking AWWDA was found the best thus placed in the first position,” said Karoundo.
Youth in the social media platforms led by Ben Ben, Ken Wa Muthithi congratulated Karondo for the excellence performance.
“Under your leadership there …things have really changed,” said Ben Ben .
In the ranking others were KEMSA, Rerec, Kenya Tourism Board, Kenya Institute of Special Education, KEBS, TSC.
