Transportation of 47,900 metric tonnes of fertilisers has started with the first 16 wagons left Mombasa
They arrived in Nairobi on Monday ready for the distribution to the 880,000 tea growers in the counties.
KTDA Holding Chairman Enos Njeru said the 16 wagons loaded with fertilizer arrived in Nairobi, with offloading and loading onto trucks started immediately for distribution to tea factories.
“Some trucks transporting the input are expected to arrive in the tea factories this morning as the KTDA leadership remains dedicated to providing efficient delivery services to our farmers,” said Njeru..
