KTDA Chairman Enos Njeru was re-elected for the second term owing to the impressive performance of the tea industry in the last three years.
The board re-elected Njeru while Eric Chepkwony was elected his deputy to serve for the three year term period.
Njeru said he was dedicated to taking the sector to new heights through addressing the unsold teas lying in the warehouses and other issues raised by the 880,000 growers.
“ Am grateful for being given another three year term which I will dedicate myself to, supported by the board to serve the growers,” he said.
The election was held in Mombasa where the board was undergoing an induction course.
