University students met Kigumo MP

Murang’a University Students Association (MUSA) held a consultative meeting with Kigumo MP Joseph Munyoro where persistent issues affecting the community were deliberated.

The consultative meeting focused on youth and comrades’ affairs to ensure the youth are productive.

The meeting where the student leaders Monicah Kimari the treasurer and Allan Ngugi the association spokesperson focused on education bursaries and employment opportunities. 

 The youthful leaders call for a platform for the youth to engage directly with their elected leaders, voicing their concerns and ideas.

In the meeting, Munyoro assured the youthful leaders of his availability for the Town Hall event, where he would come to listen and engage with the youth personally.

Munyoro said the matters raised would remain a top priority in his agenda. 

Munyoro reiterated his commitment to advancing projects that will benefit the community focusing on empowering and uplifting the younger generation.

“In Kigumo we are advancing projects that not only benefit the community at large but also specifically empower and uplift the younger generation, ensuring they have the tools and opportunities needed for success,” said the MP.
