Kware dumpsite: Police arrest a suspect behind the bodies

Detectives investigating dumping of bodies at Kware dumpsite in Mukuru kwa Njenga in Nairobi have arrested a suspect. 

Collin Jomaisi Khalisia was arrested today as the detectives in his house found 12 sacks that are similar to the ones used to cover the bodies that were found dumped in the dumpsite.

 The detectives led by the CDI boss Mohammed Amin, arrested the suspect identified  Collins Jomaisi Khalisia  in his house located at the dumpsite.

Also recovered  included 24 SIM cards, eight smartphones, a hard drive, a laptop, and a machete.

 The suspect confessed to having killed 42 women  in the past two years and started with his wife.

The suspect alleged that the first victim was his wife, whom he strangled to death, dismembered, and dumped at the site. 

“The suspect confessed to having lured, killed and disposed of a total of 42 female bodies,” Amin said.
