Kenya police has launched a manhunt for Kelvin Kinyanjui, the suspect wanted in the murder of his girlfriend Margaret Mbitu in Massachusetts United States on October 31, 2023.
The suspect allegedly escaped from the custody at Muthaiga Police Station.
Information obtained by The Mountain Journal indicates that he escaped on Wednesday evening after he mysteriously jumped into a moving vehicle. Presently in custody to help unravel the mystery are four police officers who were on duty and a lawyer who at the time of the incident was talking to Kinyanjui
The suspect was waiting for extradition to the US to face murder charges.
