The premise based in Thika was closed by the tax agency in January 2019.
Today, KRA and DCI officers who guarded the premises gave access to the company’s auditors and lawyers to conduct inspections.
Company lawyer Manasses Mwangi and employees watched unwelded of the gate and the seals placed by agencies being broken.
Insiders revealed that items in the factory were extensively vandalized, safes broken into, equipment destroyed, desks ransacked, CCTV cameras among others items that were found missing.
The lawyers alleged that there were reports that a number of unidentified vehicles had entered and left the premises at the time KRA and DCI were in charge.
The facts of the destruction of the property premises were corroborated at a visit by the trial court to the premises on July 21, 2020.
On November 23, 2020, the court ordered that the Thika premises be handed back to the owners as four days later authorities applied for review of the order to return the Thika premises back to its owners.
