Aspirants intention should be known by the voters

Murang’a Jubilee Party Gubernatorial aspirant Jamleck Kamau decision to appoint Dr Naomi Njeri Kagone has been appreciated by women leaders saying majority of the leaders have continued downplaying the strength of the females.
The Jubilee Party aspirant said he did a lot of research to settle Dr Njeri who is a resident of Kangema sub county and who has vast knowledge in business and entrepreneurship.
Unveiling his running mate, Kamau said all the promises he has made to the Murang’a people will be met, as he pleaded for their support at the ballot on August 9.
He said the running mate is a person of high integrity and with a passion to develop Murang’a owing to her education background.
Murang’a people, he stressed, should get an opportunity to understand the background of the aspirants eying the positions as there are some eying for their selfish interests.
“ All the aspirants for the gubernatorial position should be placed for scrutiny to enable the locals to understand them and their intentions,” said Kamau.
In the gubernatorial race there are aspirants, Irungu Nyakera, Wairagu wa Maii, senator Irungu Kang’ata and Dr Moses Mwangi. Only Nyakera and Kamau have named their running mates.
Nyakera’s running mate is Catherine Wairimu Mugo, a lawyer by profession.
