The Laikipia East MP Deddy Mohammed came up from the slumber land and clinched the UDA nomination ahead of August 9, general election.
Wagururu join the list of casualties in the UDA party who have been swept off from the ballot after she polled 5,595 votes.
The winner scooped 12,743 votes, while the former MP Antony Mutahi Kimaru got 2,701 votes.

Deddy will face the former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi wa Kiunjuri and the Jubilee Party candidate who will be nominated.
The Jubilee is yet to make a decision on who between Mwangi wa Sammy, Michael Waigwa and Anthony Rukwaro who will fly the ticket.
