The team backed by more than 15 aspirants eying the slots have been crisscrossing the wards campaigning for the party.
Kihungi said the party is determined to produce the next Kangema MP as their locals are backing their political strategy.
“ Kangema has been the pace setter in Mt Kenya region politics and ready to change the dynamic of doing things,” said Kihungi.
In the Jubilee Party section, aspirants for the slot are the incumbent Muturi Kigano and George Kibuku all gearing for the seat.
Kigano has been working extra hard to win the confidence of the voters as Kibuku has declined to step down.
“ I have the ambition to take Kangema to another level as since I was elected in 2017 there have been a lot of development activities,” said Kigano.
