A Pair of shoes for Raila Odinga as locals lobby for Peter Kenneth to deputize Odinga

With donation of a pair of shoes to Raila Odinga by Murang’a MP Sabina Chege gave an indication of the second phase of climbing of the mountain to consolidate the nine million votes.
In his coming to Murang’a for a public rally, Odinga addressed the residents saying he had the capacity to transform the country as he rubbished the bottom up theory of the Deputy President William Ruto.
He accepted the pair of rubber shoes and promised to work and coordinate the mountain people to ensure the country was transformed for the better.
Chege eying for Murang’a governorship position alongside Water and Irrigation Principal Secretary Joseph Wairagu wa Maai and former Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau, Dr Moses Mwangi, a chairman of the Farmers Party Irungu Nyakera, said Odinga was the best suited person to take the lead of the nation after President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“ Am pleased to support him in his campaigns as the shoes will help him in the journey to ascend to the mountain,” said Chege.
Others who accompanied Odinga were Transport and Infrastructure Cabinet Secretary James Macharia, MPs Joseph Ngugi( Gatanga), Wangari Mwaniki( Kigumo), Muturi Kigano( Kangema), Peter Kimari( Mathioya), Kanini Kega( Kieni), Amos Kimunya( Kipipiri) among others.
Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi who chairs Raila Odinga Election Campaign Board led a team of governors in the meeting.
