Odinga in Murang’a said the mountain people will be defended by his government as he rubbished Ruto for disregarding the youth by providing
them with wheelbarrows instead of empowering them.

“ My administration  will
be keen in establishing vibrant youth programmes that will empower the young
ones and stop the exploitation by the rivals
who have no agenda,” said Odinga who was backed by parliamentarians  from the mountain region led by Gatanga MP
Joseph Ngugi Nduati and Ms Wangari Mwaniki( Kigumo).
