Julius Kaberere educating them on tips to stop the spread of Covid 19.
Kaberere
who joined the celebration took time to educate the people on the best ways to wear
face masks, saying the disease should be combated through observing the
protocols imposed by the Ministry of Health.
“It is the high time we encourage our people
to keep safe and ensure we are on our face masks, and frequent handwashing,” he
said.
During
the mass celebrated by Murang’a Catholic Diocese Bishop James Maria Wainaina, Keberere who heads Chance for Children Of Africa donated 2,000 facemasks and
handwashing gel.

The government, he said, should look for the covid
vaccines targeting vulnerable groups.
The bishop asked the government to provide the
health workers with the necessary equipment for their safety.
“
There is a need for all to have the required equipment to deal with the Covid 19 pandemic. They went on strike demanding PPEs among other critical issues
like the right insurance cover,” said the prelate.
