Two years to the
General Election, Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia has effected changes in
his administration.
The governor following
increased criticism on poor road infrastructure in the agriculture rich
county, has moved his Road and Public Works Executive Ndung’u
Wangenye to the education desk.
Instead,
Kememia replaced Wangenye with Mary Mugwanja to help redeem the image
of his administration in the public eye.
Wangenye is a former
Laikipia Kuppet branch Executive Secretary before he was appointed to serve in
Nyandarua county government.
Governor Francis Kimemia is a recent function
Others
moved are Annie Gathigia to take over Youth, Sports and Gender from Public
Administration docket.
He, however,
retained James Karitu( Agriculture), Lawrence Mukundi (Lands) and Njenga
Mungai( Health).
Milka Wanjiru was
retained to serve in the water department.
In the shakeup,
acting county secretary Njoroge Mwaura was appointed to the Executive for Finance.
