undergoing inspection to ensure they
have met conditions imposed to stop the spread of Covid 19.
The players in the public
transport in Murang’a have assembled their vehicles at General Ihura stadium in
shifts where they are inspected by the public health department through
collaboration with National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
Major matatu saccos among them Murang’a Shuttle, MTN and Muigana have taken the lead to comply with the directive announced last
week to tame the spread of the disease.
In the new seating arrangement, the players are supposed to reduce the number of seats and their crew must have valid documents from NTSA to operate.
