They will send more students to the university this year

The giants
are back roaring reclaiming their former academic positions after years in the
cold.
Murang’a High School came back from the deep
slumber to claim the national position it had been holding 15 years ago by
sending the highest number of students to the universities.
Also back in
the fold is the prestigious Njiiri Boys that registered a mean of 8.872 and
will send 305 students to the university.
It had
presented 359 candidates for the examination and in 2019 attained a mean of 8.3.

mean of 8.3

Others in
the leading positions are Kahuhia Girls led by Naomi Njehia got a mean of 8.3346
and will send 225 students to the university.
Mugoiri
Girls in third with 8.2173 as 282 students will join the university from
336 who were presented for the national examination.
Kiaguthu boys
under Gibson Mwangi attained a mean of 7.801 where 164 boys will proceed to the
university out of the 222 candidates who sat for their KCSE.
Pioneer school
clocked 8.250 with 256 candidates where 211 got varsity entry grades.
In Kiambu county, Mary Leakey Girls polled a
mean of 7.5 up from the previous of 7.0 where 185 student attained university
entry grades from a candidature of 252.
Thika High
School attained a mean of 8.363 and will take 234 students to the university
out of the candidature of 265.
In Laikipia
County, Nanyuki Boys High School took the lead after it attained a mean of 8.683
with 165 students attaining varsity entry grades out of the candidature of 186.
Ndururumo boys under Wilson Kamunya posted a
mean of 8.039 where 274 out of 332 will proceed to the university.
In Nyandarua, Nyahururu boys clinched 7.0406
and will take 119 students to the university out of the candidature of 203/
Kanjuri boys
in Karatina, Nyeri county will send 198
students to the university after it clocked a mean of 7.973. it had a
candidature of 245 students.
