Controversy locks Nyandarua as Wahome moves to re-claim
position
Supremacy battle between Governor Francis Kimemia and ousted
Speaker Ndegwa Wahome featured as destruction was witnessed.
The move by Wahome to
enter the county assembly following a high court order turned chaotic as police
lobbed tear gas to disperse his followers.
There has been
tension in the assembly as camps allied to the two leaders have been fighting
for political reasons.

Camp allied to Wahome blames the chaos on the Governor
alleging he fears being dethroned.
The chaos emerged a
week after a Rurii Jubilee Party candidate Peter Githinji was floored in a by-election
by UDAs Muraya Githaiga who was backed by Nyandarua MP Faith Gitau.
The speaker was
entering the assembly to preside over the swearing of Rurii’s MCA elect before the hell
broke loose.
