Mama Simba roars eying Laikipia East MP position

The ground is set for Laikipia Woman Representative Catherine Waruguru to run for Laikipia East Parliamentary seat after she switched to UDA.
Waruguru walked from Jubilee Party to United Democratic Alliance (UDA) headed by Deputy President William Ruto who has declared to run for Presidency next year.
Defection of Waruguru was sensed earlier after he was sanitized by the ODM party leader Raila Odinga shortly upon denouncing Ruto last year. She was earlier thought to be eying the Laikipia Governorship slot before she was advised to go for the MP slot which will be easy considering her political might in Nanyuki town and surroundings.
Today, the MP is the latest catch to the UDA squad and ready to campaign for the Laikipia East slot against the incumbent Deddy Mohammed, TSP Leader Mwangi Kiunjuri.
Former MP Antony Mutahi is also interested to recapture the slot.
