Twenty three secondary school Principals in Murang’a have been reshuffled.
The reshuffle effected by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is aimed at streamlining the management of the schools and installation of discipline to the learners.
The affected schools are Njumbi, Nyagatugu, Ngurwe ini, Kiarathe, Rwathia Girls, Gititu Wahundura,among others.
In the reshuffle the head at Njumbi Boys Mr Fredrick Murage heads to Othaya boys replacing Edward Waititu who moved to Nyagatugu in Kangema, Muranga’.
Kanjuri high school in Karatina, Mathira Nyeri Paul Chira Gachoka replaces Murage at Njumbi boys.
Ngurwe ini secondary school in Kandara, Peter Mwangi heads to Gititu secondary Ithanga taking over from John Kimemia.
At Ngurwe secondary the new principal is Peter Muiruri from Kamirithu secondary in Kiambu county.
Leonard Maingi heads Mugoiri day secondary school from Kiamuruga secondary in Kirinyaga, while Rwathia girls new principal is Lucy Muriithi taking over from Fresia Wangui.
In Gatanga, St Paul Gatura, Ms Diana Githui from Githambia takes over from Mr Charles Gathere.
At Kiarathe, Jane Mwangi is the new head at Kiarathe secondary school from Iria ini secondary school in Kiambu taking over from Peter Irungu Kimani.

Irungu heads to take over the leadership at Kanjuri high school from Gachoka.
Murang’a county director of education Ms Annie Kiilu said the handing over must be held as scheduled.
