Murang’a Transport and Infrastructure Executive Eng Amos Njoroge at Kangema Matatu terminus  when he allocated loading space to Namu Sacco.

 Kangema residents have celebrated
with the introduction of a new public service vehicle in their route.

Entry of Namu Sacco to operate
Nairobi- Murang’a- Kangema route is a milestone that will increase
opportunities and reduce transport cost.

 The entry of Namu had been
delayed following the animosity by the rivals accused by the residents of
hiking the fares, due to monopoly.

 Murang’a County Government
Transport and Infrastructure Executive Eng Amos Njoroge allocated a loading bay
to Namu calling on the PSV operators to embrace competition.

 Njoroge said all the players
are equal and they should work together without shortcuts.

“The public should get the best
service from the players. Let the fares be justified to ensure our people are
not oppressed,” said Njoroge.

 Earlier, Kangema Travellers,
Kamuna, Mathioya Saccos had objected to a decision by the county government to
allocate their rival a loading bay at the Kangema terminus.
