Leadership at the troubled Kenya Tea
Development Agency (KTDA) has been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations for interrogation.
The management led by Chief Executive Officer
Leonard Tiampati, Company secretary John Omanga, Lincon Munyao, Brown Kanampiu
and Simon Rugut has been summoned to appear DCI investigators on August 24.
The summons were delivered in their respective offices on August 21.
They are persons of interests in police investigations
on conspiracy to defraud the growers.
In the summon letters to the managers, the directorate
has compelled them to appear to assist in the investigations. ” I have reasons to
believe that you are connected to the
offence or has information which can
assist me in my investigations, “read
